Homeless Prevention Advice and Information
Being in a position where you might be without a home can be overwhelming and seem daunting.
If you have nowhere to stay or are at risk of losing your home we can support you via phone or email and will make arrangements where necessary to see you face to face when this is needed. Financial Support & Money Advice
If your home is it risk due to financial issues then we can help you with enquiries about benefits, money advice and assistance with paying your rent. Support can include:
- Budgeting: support around developing budgeting skills to help you get more out of your money
- Debt advice: dealing with all creditors to minimise the impact of debts by making affordable repayment offers and supporting you through other options such as insolvency (debt relief order or bankruptcy)
- Income maximisation: supporting you to gain access to all the welfare benefits you are entitled to, save on utility bills and shop around to get the best value for money
- Financial inclusion: we can help you gain access to basic bank accounts and also work in partnership with the local credit union
It is important that you speak openly with your landlord about your payments and if you are struggling to keep up with your rent. If you would like some support talking to your landlord you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
